The Jefferson Foundation has been affecting the lives of the students and educators of Jeffco Public Schools since 1983. The non-profit Foundation’s mission is to support the School District in preparing all students for a successful future. The Jefferson Foundation has the ability to raise money and fund projects beyond the legal and political capabilities of Jeffco Public Schools.

The Jefferson Foundation pursues financial support from corporations, businesses, foundations, and individuals through campaigns, planned giving, special events, and grants. Through strong alliances and friendships with the businesses, civic groups, churches and organizations that are the bedrock of the community, the Foundation gathers support for students of Jeffco Schools -- the largest school district in Colorado.

Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $7.5 million in program funding and support. From programs that address literacy and academic achievement to programs that fill vital needs for those at-risk — this is the work of The Jefferson Foundation!
