Colorado Kids Marathon Milers is an incentive-based program for elementary students. It was designed to encourage running and walking as a way to improve fitness and adopt a healthy lifestyle. It culminated in a one-mile fun-run as part of the Colorado Colfax Marathon on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Denver’s City Park. All finishers were "winners" and received awards and gifts.
