Scholarships: Lakewood High School
Lakewood High School Class of ’51
Applications available through the Lakewood High School Counseling Office.
This scholarship was created and is funded by members of the Lakewood High School Class of 1951. These individuals comprise active and involved citizens of the Jeffco community, who believe in the power of education to create future leaders. It was established to recognize a well-rounded graduating Lakewood High School senior, who has made an outstanding contribution to Lakewood High School or community. A scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a student at the L.H.S. scholarship banquet.
Criteria for Awarding Scholarship:
- Upper 50% of class
- Character
- School and community activities
- Work experience
- Applicant must enroll at an institution of higher learning as a full time student within six months of graduation.
- Primary consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated service and leadership in school and community activities.
Finalists will be interviewed by a Selection Committee consisting of several members of the L.H.S. class of 1951. Please type or print responses to application, using a separate sheet, if necessary.
