TJF/PTA Challenge Grants
The Jefferson Foundation believes that great schools must have great community support and has offered TJF/PTA Engagement Challenge Grants to help Jeffco Schools PTAs raise funds from new sources and get new faces involved in school communities. The grant was designed to help PTAs spark participation and investment in their schools among neighbors, community leaders and businesses who have not been involved in school activities in the past.
Grants to address important programs or projects where The Jefferson Foundation’s support can have a significant impact would be considered. Engagement Challenge Grant funds will be distributed at a public, school-based event of your choosing (such as a Back-to-School Night, school open house, sporting event, etc.) The Jefferson Foundation staff will make a challenge to attendees and will match all donations made at the event up to $500. Applicant school must be a member in good standing of Jefferson County Council PTA
Details for this grant program will be released in August 2011. Please check back here.
